The only violinist I am in awe of! Amazing talent, quite an intelligent interesting person...and that killer vibrato! Of a style we no longer do, but still...check out this bit of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto...it's 12 minutes long, but sit back and be amazed!

In one of the movies he was in someone cracked on they'd got hold of his very old and expensive violin and smashed it to bits. He cried.
He really loved his violin did this guy. It loved him right back too.
